Mike Murphy from Toronto sent me these shots of the four of his eight (!) PEUGEOT 505s that are on the road, and driven regularly. Two of the other cars are strictly parts cars (one wagon, one sedan), and two turbo sedans (both 5 speeds) could easily be put back on the road, with time and money. Now let's start with:
JetWhite - 1986 turbo wagon. Originally Delft Blue, with two previous owners in Rochester, New York state, it was abandoned with some serious engine problems and probably destined for the crusher. Mike paid $200 US for it and had Mike Aube, near Ottawa, fix it up mechanically. Changed the engine, exhaust, front suspension. Mike then road tested it for a year to make sure it was worth spending more money on - a complete paint job, including changing it to Polar White. It is a lovely cruising car and very good in the winter.

RJ - (short for Argent - silver in French) is a Winchester 1987 V6/auto STi, this car had two previous owners, one in the Washington DC area, and then a German-Canadian man then living in DC, who later moved to Illinois. Mike bought the car off the Internet and found he had the most amazing coincidences with this individual! It is a very cosmopolitan car, good at everything, but Mike doesn't drive it in the Canadian winter.

Rob's Car - A 1987 turbo 5 spd S sedan. Mike MurphyI got this car for free from Rob, a gentleman in Calgary, Canada. It had some serious engine issues to resolve, and a lot of minor issues, but like the other cars, is clean and straight.

Mike Aube again did the mechanical work. Mike had it repainted it in its original Delft Blue. It is a very fun car, driven only during the summer months.

Suzy-Q - A 1988 GLS 5 speed wagon, which Mike bought from Jim Lill, in Rochester, NY. This car is his designated winter machine, and with four snow tires, can go anywhere in the winter. Mike has done things that 4x4 Jeeps have not been able to do. On wider summer tires, this is actually a very fun car to drive; it is remarkably light and manoeverable. Jim had it repainted in dark Volvo blue.

This is Rabin Rutten-James, from Saskatchewan, Canada, putting his 1986 PEUGEOT 505 GL Turbo through the paces

...and a missing headlight. It's a project car after all... Some pics were taken at Pike's Peak where Rabin was a mechanic on a Ford RS200e driven by Stig Blomqvist!
